Lisa Rayam is the former reporter and news anchor for Fox 5 TV. She is also a popular Gospel Singer who has released various music albums.
Her late first husband Lee Norris Rayam was a poet and activist, his brother Thomas, a Football player, and their other brother, Curtis, a world-renowned Tenor.

Personal Life : Parents, Family and Education

Lisa Rayam (neé Myers) was born and raised in Florida, in a happy, Christian household.
She returned to Florida to start her career initially and eventually met her first husband, Lee Norris Rayam.
Lee, whom Lisa often describes as her soulmate, was a poet and activist. He was murdered while the couple was on vacation in Jamaica, in 1994, early on in their marriage. The couple was celebrating their second anniversary.
In May 1995, a craft vendor named Noah Riley was first arrested and spent a year on death row. However, a Jamaican Court reversed the verdict, arguing that Lisa’s testimony was insufficient to show that Riley was an attacker. The Rayam family was surprised to hear that Riley was a free man. The current status of the case is not known.
She went on to remarry later in life and now lives in Atlanta with her second husband, Derwin Tucker, and her two children – sons Jordan and Kamryn.
Lisa studied at Arizona State University and paired with further studies, is now the proud holder of a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Human Development.

Lisa started her career as an anchor/reporter for KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona, but soon returned home to Florida as a reporter for WINK-TV in Fort Myers & then moved to a post as an anchor and reporter for WESH 2 News in Orlando.
In 1996, Lisa was snapped up by Fox 5 in Atlanta and started work as an anchor and reporter for several different shows. She continued there for close to 21 years.
Amidst controversy that Fox hadn’t renewed her contract, Lisa opted to leave her role in 2016 to spend more time with her family and concentrate on other projects.
Lisa was also proudly inducted into the National Association of TV Arts and Sciences Silver Circle in 2016.
Post her Fox 5 stint, Rayam took the position of a Capitol reporter on GPB’s ‘Lawmakers.’
