Rishi Kapoor passed away earlier today at a hospital in Mumbai. The actor was 67 and had been fighting with leukaemia for over two years now. Rishi Kapoor’s demise came as a shock for not just his colleagues and friends but his family too as he was feeling better after he returned to India last year in September after getting treated in New York. But soon his health started deteriorating again. Rishi Kapoor’s cremation will take place soon and his family is trying hard to be there for it amidst the strict lockdown in the entire country. 
Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni who lives in New Delhi had filed a petition to be allowed to travel to attend her father’s last rites. And latest news confirms that her plea has been accepted and she will soon be in Mumbai by her family’s side.
